Real Madrid are set to welcome Brazilian sensation Endrick to the club next year, and there is plenty to be excited about.

Los Blancos agreed a deal with Palmeiras last year to sign the then 16-year-old for around €70m (£60m), with the striker set to join in the summer of 2024.

In Real Madrid’s vision, this could have seen him come in as a direct replacement for Karim Benzema, but the Frenchman’s unexpected departure in the summer means Endrick will now replace Joselu once his loan ends.

Despite his young age, Endrick is regarded as one of the biggest talents in South America, and he could be ready to join the first teams once he arrives.

Excitement over Endrick

Endrick has plenty of time to prepare for his arrival at the Santiago Bernabeu, and he is reportedly using the time effectively.

Fabrizio Romano has now revealed that Real Madrid have received very positive feedback on their huge investment, with the attacker in fantastic form and playing with the correct mindset needed to succeed.

“Real Madrid are receiving excellent reports on Endrick on and off the pitch, waiting for him to join the club in 2024,” Romano tweeted.

“He has scored 5 goals in 5 starts, also learning new languages, training hard and preparing his arrival in Europe for July.”

Endrick is not the first teenager Real Madrid have signed from Brazil in recent years, but he may be the most exciting.

Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo and Reinier Jesus are among the players Real Madrid invested huge money in directly from South America, and they have had mixed results.

Vinicius took time to settle as a teenager, but has now established himself as one of the best players in the world.

Rodrygo has had his moments, but despite a struggle for form this season, he is gradually becoming a starter after a few years of rotation.

Reinier however, has not been a success, and is currently on another loan spell away from the club, this time at Frosinone. Unless he has a major breakthrough in form, it seems unlikely that he will ever make the grade at Real Madrid.
