The saga between Real Madrid and striker Kylian Mbappe has been never-ending, and it has taken a fresh turn as La Liga President Javier Tebas has now spoken about the potential move.

The Paris Saint-Germain forward looks set to join at the end of the season after multiple summers of speculation, as Florentino Perez’s latest Galactico signing.

Whilst nothing is confirmed yet, it seems that Mbappe will join Real Madrid once his contract at PSG expires, having stood firm and rejected new contracts to stay in the French capital.

Speaking to Movistar Plus, Tebas claimed that Madrid would be the perfect destination for one of the world’s best players in Mbappe.

“Convinced, convinced, no, but it is an ideal destination for him, for sure,” he stated.

“A percentage that he will go to Real Madrid? I think that next year he will be at Real Madrid at more than 70 per cent or 80 per cent.”

The saga has to end

The uncertainty over Mbappe’s future has harmed Real Madrid, as they have missed out on potential other targets whilst waiting for him.

The likes of Erling Haaland and Harry Kane moved in the last two years whilst Madrid waited for Mbappe, and this cannot go on much longer.

If Mbappe joins this summer, then his long-awaited arrival will cause a lot of excitement, but if there is yet another turn, then Madrid simply have to move on to other targets.

Brazilian wonderkid Endrick is also set to join, and Real Madrid may find themselves with a plethora of attacking options after a season of struggle for top-class attackers in this campaign.

Real are currently limited upfront, with Joselu, Rodrygo and Vinicius Junior the current forwards in the squad, and having a player like Mbappe, who has been described as “world class” by Didier Deschamps, could help fire Los Blancos to further glory.
