Real Madrid had a busy transfer window, and one which may not be looked upon too favourably despite pulling off some fantastic signings.
Whilst the big-money acquisition of Jude Bellingham looks to have been a masterstroke, there were plenty of departures and perhaps not enough signings to help pad what is now a thin squad.
Long-term injuries to Thibaut Courtois and Eder Militao have not helped matters, but Carlo Ancelotti has claimed that he is happy with his squad.
Another long saga involving Paris Saint-Germain striker Kylian Mbappe took place, but the French club ended the window keeping their superstar for at least another season, with a move to Real Madrid next summer still potentially on the cards.
Brahim Diaz returned from his loan at AC Milan to form part of the squad, whilst there were contract extensions for Toni Kroos, Luka Modric and Dani Ceballos, having lost Karim Benzema and Marco Asensio for free.
Here’s the full list of signings and sales. Should Real Madrid have done more in the window?
